A custom glass enclosure is a set of fixed panes, doors and fixing components designed for a specific location. It can fill an entire opening between walls, form a corner, create a private office or combine a fixed section with a passage. Unlike an off-the-shelf product, its dimensions, divisions, opening method and fitting design are determined by the conditions of the individual project.

A solution should not be chosen from an inspiration photo alone. The substrate, possible fixing points in the walls, floor and ceiling, user traffic, furniture layout and concealed services also matter. The final configuration is therefore established after the location has been assessed and accurately measured.

Where do custom glass doors and partitions work well?

Glass helps organise an interior without building a full opaque barrier. It passes light between zones and preserves visual continuity, which makes it suitable for both modern and more traditional schemes.

No single arrangement suits every interior. Hinged doors can be convenient but need clear swing space. A sliding system saves space in front of the passage but requires room for the leaf to move aside. For a wide opening, combining a door with fixed sections is often practical.

Glass selection begins with the function of the enclosure. Tempered Glass

Fittings, structure and opening method

Fittings are not merely decorative details. Hinges, tracks, handles, locks, profiles and fixing points work together with the pane, so they affect glass preparation and installation. Their colour and form can coordinate with door handles, lighting, window frames or other interior elements.

How should you care for glass doors and partitions?

For routine cleaning, a soft cloth and a product intended for glass are usually sufficient. Avoid hard scrapers and abrasive products that could damage the surface or the finish of the fittings. Clean details around profiles and fixings according to the recommendations for the relevant material.
